Who we are:

Originally established in June 1976 by Edward W. Anchor & Solange L. Anchor to offer a complete service to Shipowners and Operators using the Panamá Canal and all ports in the Republic of Panamá.
Anchor offers full Agency service on a 24/7 basis including canal transit, crew changes, bunker supplies, spare parts delivery, cargo operations & repairs on a competitively priced fee structure.
Anchor has during this period represented over 200 shipowners & operators worldwide handling their vessels efficiently and expediteously as agents, brokers & surveyors.
In year 2000 Jocelyne G. Anchor joined the company and is now a Director handling all aspects of the operations, co-ordination and liason with the various government entities & port operators including Panamá Canal Authority.
Our attendance commences with receipt of the first ETA, transit or docking and follow through until departure ensuring that all ship's requirements are accomplished.
Since our startup we have successfully arranged and organized salvage & rescue operations both in Caribbean and Pacific Ocean on behalf of shipowners & underwriters.
Anchor has acted as S&P brokers for various vessels and arranged both voyage and longterm charters for our principals vessels, including heavylift project cargoes.
Anchor has also acted as "caretakers" for laid-up tankers and general cargo vessels for 18 month periods with qualified skeleton crews.
